Ohio Barn Wedding Venues - Featured Rustic Barns

If your looking for rustic barns to host your wedding at, or just wanting to view beautifully created barns, your at the right place.

I have always love driving down the road and seeing a beautiful barn. Everytime I look at one, I instantly imagine myself knocking on the owners door and saying “hi, I'm a Photographer, may I take a photo of your barn? It's so beautiful!” weird right? I can't help it!

While photographing past weddings, I've had the Amazing opportunity of touring these event barns and photographing them on wedding days. Here are a few of my favorites I think are worth taking a look at when shopping around for your perfect rustic wedding venue.

Blystone Farm - Canal Winchester, Ohio

This barn was made with weddings and events in mind! It includes a heated floor, a fireplace, a bar area and beautiful big barn doors on each side. The backside leads to beautiful open farmland where you can have your outdoor ceremony, with a gazebo and plenty of room for hundreds of guests. The contrast of the red and black colors makes it perfect for any type of Photography editing style. Next to the event barn is a full service restraunt that includes patriotism and love for this country. This is the perfect barn if your looking for open spaces for sunset and a classic red country barn with style.

Wren Farm

Located in Mechanicsburg Ohio is a beautiful horse barn transformed into wedding and event space. When touring before one of my brides weddings, I got to hear the history of the barn and the land. It was truly remarkable getting to hear the long history of a barn still standing beautifully and now inviting so many weddings and families to celebrate together in. This barn offers beautiful farm landscapes, a gorgeous outdoor ceremony site with an arbor, and plenty of sunset background spots. Golf cart included when needed by the wonderful owners!

The Old Blue Rooster Shelter House - Lithopolis Ohio

This specific barn really spoke to me, my love for America and my artistic side. A simple flag on a white barn and it's still one of my favorites after shooting weddings and other sessions there so much. This barn isn't used for weddings, it's simply a decoration- but a beautiful decoration that deserves to be recognized nonetheless. You'll find the space includes multiple ceremony spot options and a shelter house perfect for your reception, with a bar, dj area and plenty of space for guests and gifts.

Canyon Run Ranch - Pleasant Hill Ohio

This barn is the definition of “rustic”. They offer a ceremony in the woods option, with a few different spots to choose from. The bottom of the barn was revamped into a hangout/bar area and the reception area, bar included, has plenty of space. The house pictured at the bottom is the getting ready area for the bride (also equally gorgeous!) View the horses by the barn, take in the land and the views and really live out that barn wedding style!
