This year, I decided to do valentine’s day a little different- in a treehouse!

Last year, I donated my time to take photos of cute pups at a local pet store with an adorable Valentine's day set up for the four legged family members. I thought I'd focus on my true passion this year- couples! I love taking photos of all things couple related- my favorite being weddings, in home sessions/engagement sessions being my second.
We took photos at Among the Trees Lodging in Hocking Hills, Logan Ohio. This space offers 3 different treehouse options- all with amazing views! One treehouse is even named the buckeye, being from the buckeye trees they made it with. How unique!
Some of my favorite features of this specific treehouse (The Maple View) is it's big open window on the top floor bringing lots of light in, the high ceilings in the living room, and the bridge walking up to the treehouse (that lights up at night!)
I wanted to create an atmosphere that reflected cozy, homey, romantic and relaxed. I offered rose petals on the bed, chocolate covered oreos and strawberries, a “be mine” cookie to use as a prop and take home, and pink rose lemonade. I recommended cozy comfy clothes with neutral colors or matching PJs!
